Today Capital Group is a business funding brokerage in Woodland Hills, California, working with small businesses across the United States. We are not a lender. We take one application to the funders in our network, bring back what they offer, and help you read it.
What the work actually is
Someone reads the file
Bank statements, how long you have been trading, what the money is for. A person goes through all of it before it leaves our office, because a file sent to the wrong funder comes back declined and costs you a week.
It goes where it fits
Funders want different things, and they are not shy about it. Knowing which of them will look seriously at a trucking company, a restaurant or a medical practice is most of this job.
The offers get explained
Terms are quick to skim and expensive to misread. We go through the repayment schedule, the term length and what happens in a month that runs short, before you sign rather than after.
And what we won’t do
We do not promise an approval
Funders decide, and every rate and term inside an offer is theirs rather than ours. Anyone who tells you the answer before your file has been read is guessing.
We do not push the first offer
If what comes back is wrong for your business, we will say so. An advance you cannot carry is not a result worth having, for you or for us.
We do not charge you to apply
Nothing to apply, and nothing to see what comes back. Any fee attached to an offer belongs to the funder and is written into their agreement, where you will see it before you sign.
